A Turning Point by M. Sembera

This one seems more "adult" but still I liked it. I am still stuck reading ya books and all that lol. The characters, the story line and all that. I have no idea what to say but I am going to let whatever words come to mind and write it.Ĥ stars!! Loved the book not much action but still I liked reading it.

Thought I'd read this book first because I checked it out and not one person made a review yet. Will Hert fight for Ren, or does it matter anymore? And there is the question about the tattoo that he is very secretive about. Jackson has feelings for Ren, but trying to remain the respectful friend. Ren knows secrets on Emerson and is actually trying to protect him at this point. I’m anxious to see what Ren will do next. He makes it clear what he wants from Ren. Unfortunately Hert cannot say the words to Ren that she longs to hear, and he hasn’t been able to for a while. Hert does make arrangements for Ren to meet him at a hotel the evening of their anniversary hoping to rekindle her husband’s desires for her and their marriage enough for him to want to come home. The two have fun planning for this event, but she wants her marriage to work, and she looks forward to Hert’s calls and hopes to be able to see him on their one year anniversary. It is discovered that Hert will not be home for the social ball of the season, and Hert recommends that Jacks take Ren. Ren and Jackson are very comfortable with one another and she finds her life peaceful without worrying about all the secrets that surround her life and marriage with Hert.

But Hert has asked Jackson to stay at the house while he is gone due to Ren’s ex, and in case Emerson should come back to the house. Him and the company lawyer leave to find him leaving Ren alone once more. Emerson runs off and this creates a problem for Hert. Without Hert ever being home, she feels that it is not appropriate for Em to be there with her any longer. Infuriated by this, she makes him move out of the house. Her friendship with Emerson hits a big snag when he makes a pass at her. She decides this will be her life and she will support him. Much is expected from her in the social scene as she tries to fit in a crowd that she completely does not connect with, and she is having more trouble connecting with her husband who is rarely home. She comes to realize his position is important to him and maybe being the supportive wife will make him happy. Ren is trying very hard to be the perfect wife to Hert. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
